Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader

Since Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is also on the 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die list, I recommend you start there first, it’s not very expensive if you buy it for PC on a digital platform like Steam. This game is also harder to come by because it’s not available on PC and even if you owned a copy, it’s difficult to emulate the game on PC properly. For this reason, playing on original hardware is the only real option. The game looks much better graphically than the first in the Rogue Squadron series, but it should because it’s on the next generation console after Rogue Squadron. I’ve yet to really get into playing it, and I’ll update this blog post if I ever do. Also, the Star Wars: Squadrons game is finally, after many years, a great addition and extension of the Rogue Squadron series for modern consoles.
