The US version is named The Ring and started the J-Horror craze. The original Japanese version is on the list 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. The 2020 restoration version is probably the best one to see. 2020 version on Amazon You can oftentimes get a version of the movie on sale on digital movie sites.
