Pac-Man is one of the most iconic video game characters of all time, up there with Mario himself. The arcade game is on the list 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die, and the NES port is on the 100 Greatest Consoles Video Games 1977-1987. The best way, I think to play Pac-Man nowadays is to get the Pac-Man Museum+ game. Then you have basically all the Pac-Man arcade games, along with a nice customizable virtual arcade to put the games in.
