An extremely well-done fantasy RPG game made by BioWare, the makers of the famous Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. This game is on the 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die list. It’s also the first game in the series, and you might want to play it before Inquisition, the 3rd game in the series.
The preferred way to play this game is the Ultimate Edition on the PC. The XBox One is compatible with the main game disc, but can’t interface with the DLC install disc. Also the XBox 360 store is about to close. But more importantly, the video game controller interface is clunky on the consoles. You can play the PC version on Linux if you use the GOG or Steam versions. This YouTube video describes how.
