A game in the 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die. This is the first game in the Rebelstar / Laser Squad series that later turned into the X-Com series of games. The ZX Spectrum version is the best representation of it. When it came out it was a steal at about 2 pounds for a great strategy game! In this Crash magazine on pages 49-50 Is the review of Rebelstar. It’s based on a not-well-received earlier strategy game, but Rebelstar revitalized it and became a hit!
